Why SRQmmj.com

I started SRQmmj.com in order to educate the public on Medical Marijuana as a patient-controlled alternative to “Profit” driven, mass-produced pharmaceutical drugs and to bring lite to the evergrowing opioid addiction epidemic that is killing many thousands of people each year.

I was raised to believe that marijuana was an evil drug responsible for the inevitable destruction of our planet. I even spend several years in the U.S. Coast Guard helping interdict marijuana as it illegally entered our country.

As a side note, I am still against the importation of marijuana into our country and advocate the safe and healthy production of medical grade marijuana in our country.

I first began researching the medical uses of medical marijuana after a life-long friend committed suicide after many years of opioid addiction and the life-altering consequences of the addiction and doctor shopping.  I truly believe that if my friend had access to medical marijuana, there might have been a very different outcome.

For a greater insight into how medical marijuana works and how it can change your life if you have certain illnesses, please visit my MMJ Education page here.
